An absolute must if you have beautiful candles.  It is essential to trim your candle wick to about 5mm after each burn (or every 4 hours, whichever comes first) but that can be difficult as the wax burns down and your scissors no longer reach! These are a perfect solution and once snipped they will hold your dirty snipped off wick so it doesn’t drop back in to your candle.  They are such a great gift too!

When wick trimming, you should always extinguish the flame, let the candle come to room temperature, and trim the wick before relighting.  Wick trimming keeps an even burn, greatly reduces soot and helps to create a flat pool of wax - although to avoid tunneling you also need a good quality candle.
