Many customers get confused between the difference of re-covering and re-upholstering. Re-covering is simply replacing the old cover for a new one, perhaps on a piece of furniture that just does not fit in with your present interior design scheme. If that’s the case then call us and we will be able to help you.
Re-upholstery is different, and is a dying art. This is when a piece needs work on the inside, either partially or totally (new webbing or filling, new or re-tied springs, frames tightened, etc). Our upholsterer works from the frame up so if your old piece has a good frame there are some significant initial savings to be made. If your old sofa or chair frame has stood up for ten years or more then it is probably a good frame, and good frames don't wear out. Over the years a good wooden frame has jumped 100% or more in price.
We can also re-upholster or make unique headboards; they can transform any divan bed!
